I've always had a passion for helping people. I launched my first "business" at 8 years old. It was called Dare to Dream (DTD). I created a journal from my closet when I was entertaining myself as an 80's latchkey kid before my mom got home. I was going to help people live their best lives by journaling. I had one client. My cat. I guess I was in the business of helping cats live their best lives. I was in my closet because I was scared to be home alone.
34 years later, I left the corporate world, returned to my dream and launched Ditched the Drink (DTD), from... you guessed it... my closet. This closet was a big bonus room and I was scared again, this time to take the leap to doing my own thing and leave a six-figure salary behind.
I've coached many people who want to offer heart-centered, meaningful service but have no idea how to turn that into financial health and autonomy. This turns into burnout, frustration, stress, headaches, resentment, and dissatisfaction with their career choice. It doesn't have to be this way.
